1st day:


Evening arrival to Portorož, checking into the hotel. You will have Slow Food dinner based on fish dishes at the restaurant. Overnight in Portorož.
 

2nd day:


After breakfast we will visit typical medieval seaside town Piran, known as the birth place of the composer and violinist Giuseppe Tartini and then we will visit the salt pan where salt is harvested for more than 400 years. After the drive past Korte to šmarje above Koper we will visit the excellent wine cellar Santomas for wine tasting. We will drive also to the authentic little medieval Istrian town Pomjan where we will first go sightseeing and then we will relax enjoying Istrian Slow Food. Overnight in Portorož.
 

3rd day:


After breakfast, we’ll take you to Postojna in order to visit the Postojna Cave, one of the most beautiful and biggest underground karst caves in Europe. A light meal will be served at the Zemono Mansion in Vipavska dolina, which is considered one of the best restaurants in Slovenia. After that we will drive to the medieval town štanjel and from there to the farm which is known for growing top wines and for preparing excellent food. Of course there will be wine tasting and dinner. . Accommodation in the hotel at the Karst.
 

4th day:


In the morning we will take a ride to the famous Lipica stud, and pay a short visit to the stables. After that there will be enough time for typical Slovenian lunch in the local inn.
Return to Portorož and end of tour.
