DAY 1: ARRIVAL - BLED

Arrival at the Ljubljana airport, transfer to Bled - a beautiful Alpine resort, dinner, accommodation in a hotel, overnight.

DAY 2: BLED - POKLJUKA - BOHINJ

After breakfast trip to the Bled region, boat trip to the island of Lake Bled, visit to an ancient castle, visit to the Vintgar gorge, then trip to a high Alpine plateau called Pokljuka and from there to another magnificent Alpine resort of Lake Bohinj. Then transfer to Bled, dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3: KRANJSKA GORA - VRSIC - SOCA - KOBARID - NOVA GORICA

After breakfast trip to the Planica valley, famous for ski jumps and then to the tourist resort Kranjska gora. Later trip to the highest Slovenian mountain pass Vrsic from where it is possible to enjoy a marvellous view
to the Julian Alps and after the break trip to the Soca valley, one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys. In Kobarid visit to the museum of the First World War, the best European museum in 1993. Dinner and accommodation in Nova Gorica. About 130 km by bus.

DAY 4: GORISKA BRDA - STANJEL - LIPICA - PORTOROZ

After breakfast trip to the Goriska Brda, which is one of the best wine producing areas in Slovenia. After visit to the medieval castle Dobrovo and one of many typical wine cellars (wine tasting) trip towards the typical and beautiful Vipava valley to Stanjel, a typical Karst city. Then trip to the stable in Lipica, one of the most interesting stables in Europe and later on transfer towards Portoroz. Dinner and accommodation in Portoroz. About 160 km by bus.

DAY 5: PIRAN - POSTOJNA - LJUBLJANA

In the morning visit to Piran, a nice and pleasant Mediterranean town, where famous violin player Giuseppe Tartini was born and where you can find many well preserved buildings from the period of the Venetian Republic. Later transfer to Postojna and visit to one of the most famous European underground caves - the Postojna cave. Then transfer to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia, dinner and accommodation. About 120 km by bus.

DAY 6: PLETERJE - KOSTANJEVICA - CATEZ

After breakfast sightseeing of Ljubljana and in early afternoon trip towards Dolenjska (Lower Carniola) and visit to the nice and well preserved Pleterje monastery. Then trip through Kostanjevica towards Catez resort. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel. About 110 km by bus.

DAY 7: OLIMJE - JERUZALEM - MARIBOR

In the morning trip to Olimje, visit to a very well preserved monastery and one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe. Then transfer towards the wine region Stajerska (Styria) and visit to one of many excellent wine cellars near Jeruzalem. In the evening transfer towards Maribor, dinner, accommodation in a hotel. About 120 km by bus.

DAY 8: MARIBOR - DEPARTURE

In the morning sightseeing of Maribor and one of the most interesting wine cellars in Europe with the length of more than 3.000 meters. In the afternoon transfer towards the Ljubljana airport and departure. About 130 km by bus.
