DAY 1: ARRIVAL - BLED


In the morning arrival at the Ljubljana airport. Transfer to Bled (30 min.), accommodation in a hotel, in the afternoon visit to the castle, cruise at the lake, visit to Vintgar. Dinner and accommodation in Bled. About 40 km by bus.
 

DAY 2: POKLJUKA - BOHINJ - BLED


In the morning trip to the Pokljuka Alpine plateau, visit to the forests, some free time to enjoy marvellous countryside and the Alps. Then transfer through Alpine villages Gorjuse and Koprivnik to the resort of Lake Bohinj, visit to the Savica waterfall. If the weather will permit, transfer by cable-car to Mt. Vogel (1.700 m above sea level) with a very nice view in the heart of the Alps. Arrival in Bled in the afternoon, dinner and accommodation. About 60 km by bus.
 

DAY 3: KRANJSKA GORA - VRSIC - SOCA - KOBARID - NOVA GORICA


In the morning transfer to Kranjska gora and to the Planica valley with the biggest ski jumps in the world. Then trip to Vrsic (a mountain pass 1.650 meters above sea level) and to the Soca valley (one of the most beautiful Alpine rivers). In the afternoon visit to the museum of the First World War in Kobarid (award for the best European museum in 1993), then transfer to the "casino city" Nova Gorica, dinner and accommodation. About 140 km by bus.
 

DAY 4: THE VIPAVA VALLEY - LJUBLJANA


In the morning trip through the picturesque countryside of the Vipava valley, visit to one of many typical wine cellars (wine tasting). Afterwards transfer towards Ljubljana, accommodation in a hotel, sightseeing of its historic part. Dinner and accommodation. About 110 km by bus.
 

DAY 5: ZAGREB - PLITVICE


In the morning transfer to Zagreb, the charming capital city of Croatia and after sightseeing transfer to the national park Plitvice lakes. Dinner and accommodation. About 340 km by bus.
 

DAY 6: PLITVICE - OPATIJA - PORTOROZ


In the morning visit to theone of the most beautiful national parks in Europe. In the afternoon trip through the nice countryside of Lika to the Adriatic coast, to Senj and then through Opatija - an elegant tourist resort - to Portoroz. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel. About 360 km by bus.
 

DAY 7: PIRAN - SOLINE - HRASTOVLJE - PORTOROZ


Possibility to have a full day excursion to Venice with the famous catamaran Prince of Venice (2,5 hour drive one way) directly from Portoroz to Venice. For those, who stay in Portoroz we will organise a visit to Piran - a charming old Mediterranean town, old salt fields, typical small villages in the Slovenian part of Istria and the famous late gothic church in Hrastovlje, famous for its frescoes. Dinner and accommodation in Portoroz. About 40 km by bus.
 

DAY 8: LIPICA - POSTOJNA - DEPARTURE


In the morning trip to Lipica and visit to the world famous stable, then transfer to Postojna to visit to one of the most beautiful underground caves in the world. After the visit transfer to the airport. About 160 km by bus.
